Passionate about archeology, he promoted archaeological research at Altomilanese. Together with Alda Levi Spinazzola (Superintendence for Archaeological Heritage of Lombardia), he recovered the Parabiago plate. His investigations have also revealed numerous tombs of the Golasecca culture.
